<image:caption>Jasmin Fosheim and Cassidy Blade are sisters living in rural South Dakota. Both balancing new families and serving their community in various capacities, Jasmin and Cassidy are passionate about the advantages of rural life. This passion and belief that rural is an asset, not a detriment, led them to create Realizing Rural. Since 2020, Realizing Rural has provided grant writing, project management, marketing, and consulting services for rural businesses, organizations, and communities in North Dakota, South Dakota, and beyond with the mission of shifting the rural narrative from surviving to thriving.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Cassidy Blade Cassidy has always been committed to rural life, moving to Hettinger, ND in 2015 after graduation and completing her AAS in Business Management in 2017. Cassidy has worked in the newspaper industry since 2016, specializing in ad creation and design. In 2019, Cassidy became one of the youngest publishers in North Dakota. She continues to serve both the Adams County Record and the Hettinger County Herald, shifting to remote work following her move to Pierre, SD. She now lives in her hometown with her husband Collin and children Kyler and Kenley. Living in and working with rural communities sets Cassidy’s soul on fire, and Realizing Rural allows her to explore that passion every day.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Jasmin Fosheim Jasmin graduated from Augustana University in 2017. After volunteering as a teacher in the Marshall Islands, Jasmin moved to Hettinger in 2018 and accepted a position as the Executive Director of the Hettinger Area Chamber of Commerce and Adams County Development Corporation. In her time with these organizations, she developed a passion for community development and grant writing, successfully securing several millions in grant funds. In the fall of 2022, Jasmin returned to her hometown of Pierre, SD with her husband Frank, daughter Josie, and son Finn. A lover of adventure and an avid traveler, Jasmin adores exploring new places and cultures. Her favorite place to be, however, is at home with her favorite tiny humans.</image:caption>
